Vendor Management Analyst – Strategic Sourcing Partnership Top 3 Skills: *Experience working with Offshore Model *ITIL Framework Experience *Ability to define document process Position Overview This position will be responsible for working with our strategic vendor partners and internal stakeholders to ensure that our engagements with our vendors are in alignment with industry best practices. This role requires an analytical resource, which is effective at collecting and analyzing large amounts of metric and financial information and can work semi-autonomously to execute on the strategic direction of the team. The candidate will help enable continuous improvement across the organization by measuring the effectiveness of our engagements with our strategic partners. Responsibilities to Include: • Communicate vendor governance standards, procedures, and tools for use in selecting, directing and managing relationships with third parties • Working with the IT and Business Unit leadership teams to identify, recommend sourcing models based on business needs • Execute on the strategic sourcing strategy to support day to day processing and all related administrative support activity in accordance with the team’s policies and procedures • Partner with CareFirst IT teams to perform spend analysis and identify savings opportunities • Track quantifiable measures of success for the team • Consult with IT teams on the construction and ongoing maintenance of their vendor engagements • Implement tools and processes to automate vendor reporting • Develop, improve, and report on measures of vendor performance • Work closely with compliance, procurement, and legal to ensure vendor programs comply with policies and vendor agreements conform to CareFirst best practices Vendor Management Skills Needed: • Skilled in the reporting of performance against service level agreements, metrics, and associated scorecards to evaluate results • Familiarity with the ITIL framework Management Skills Needed: • Skilled in working with offshore teams and remote/virtual resources • Strong meeting facilitation and leadership skills • High confidence level and ability to remain calm and focused to enable teams to come to agreement on next steps • Strong communication skills to include presenting business and technical ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats. • Ability to work with diverse teams with strong personalities or management styles • High aptitude for learning and understanding by “reading the situation” to identify next steps • Critical thinking skills to resolve problems and present solutions • Ability to prepare and conduct training to mentor teams on process, procedures and best practices • Strong skills with MS Excel and MS Word • Basic Working knowledge of HP Quality Center Desired Experience: • Candidate will have 3+ years of experience working in a Project Management office, including 2+ years focused on IT vendor management • Candidate will have 2+ years of experience measuring IT delivery performance • Candidate will have 1+ years of experience in ITIL / managed service delivery • Candidate will have 1+ years of experience in highly regulated industries (Healthcare, Financial Services, other) Thanks and Regards, Prabakaran Louisraj (Karan) Director HR IPSource LLC., (732) 582 8341 karan@ipsourceus.com http://www.ipsourceus.com
