SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION   Specific Software skills: • Must have working knowledge of :  MS Excel, Power Point, Project, Snag-it, Visio, Clear Case and Clear Quest, Crystal Reports • Minimum 2-5 years demonstrated experience in the administration of SAP Business objects enterprise systems and Share Point • Minimum 1-2 years Configuration Management  process development and enforcement   Experience Required • Minimum 2-5 years Business Objects and Share Point experience working within a  medium to large software development Project Team of business analysts, developers, engineers, database administrators and testers. The ideal candidate must have prior experience with ClearQuest, Unified Change Management (UC) and structured configuration management techniques • Hands on experience building programs using SDK • Experience with Backup and recovery processes for Business Objects and Share Point • Willingness to work non-standard hours, when required     Education Requirements • 4 year College Degree or equivalent.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Plans, conducts and coordinates major business programming applications of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the application.  Provides technical advice and consultation on complex programming applications.  Organizes and directs the execution of broad programming projects.  Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of multiple, inter-linked programs. Recommends and develops programming and documentation standards.  Prepares cost analysis and justification for programming projects.   Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.  Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.  Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.  Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.  Assignments are often self-initiated.  Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.  Work checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of superior.  Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.  Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve critical organizational objectives and affect the image of the organization's technological capability.  Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs.  Acts as advisor to management on advanced technical research studies and applications.  May provide work leadership for lower level employees.  Considered expert in field.  Excludes those with full supervisory responsibility. The candidate must be very proficient in Business Objects XI R3 administration, Data Integrator, IBM DB/2 database and familiarity with full suite of Rational tools with specific experience with ClearQuest and ClearCase.  The candidate must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently of other Application and Software Development and DBA’s. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to learn the various software products necessary to perform job assignments, and the ability to interact with all types of office personnel and clients. • The candidate would be responsible for: Business Objects  & Share Point System Administration • Identification and resolution of system related issues • Maintain existing ClearQuest control processes, and maintain the integrity of the application development and project's artifacts • Identification of configuration items, restricting changes to those items, auditing changes made to those items, and defining and managing configurations of those items throughout the software development process • Deployment of crystal reports with database and XML custom data sources • Deployment of database objects • Build programs using the SDK with .net or Java • Provide support to development team in resolving and clarifying the system and tool related issues • Use of the Rational Suite to trace defects, requirements, specifications and test cases • Liaison between The Project Team, helping to track defects and build issues • Ensuring proper versioning of configuration items be selected for change or implementation • Definition and enforcement of object check-in/check-out procedures • Perform update and development of process documentation
