Complete Description: The Senior Product Specialist (SPRS) is the leading expert for a technical development This Senior Product Specialist should also possess the majority of the skills of a Developer/Architect. The Senior Product Specialist is responsible for the following primary responsibilities: •Analyze business and technical requirements, as well as data warehouse data models, to understand the detailed data management requirements. •Collaborate on data architecture design and planning as the subject-matter expert for the physical structure and implementation of data warehouses and data marts. •Ensure the accuracy, reliability and scalability of the data as well as the processes implemented for data collection. •Develop, document and implement T-SQL scripts and stored procedures. •Design, build and test ETL applications using SQL Server 2005 & 2008 Integration Services and follow industry standards and best practices to ensure consistency of data attributes and naming conventions. •Implement reporting solutions using SQL Server 2005 & 2008 Reporting Services and potentially other ad-hoc reporting request to support customer demands. •Design, build and process data cubes using SQL Server 2005 & 2008 Analysis Services and MDX experience. Qualifications •Minimum 8 plus years of experience working with one or more database systems, and is capable of hands-on work in all phases of database design and management. •Minimum 5 plus years of experience working in a data warehouse and decision support environment. •Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2 and Business Intelligence tools such as Integration Services, Analysis Services and reporting Services. •Ability to write complex stored procedures, and tune it for better performance. •An expertise in MS SQL Server data warehousing and data mining concepts including but not limited to: star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tools is needed. •Should also possess good oral and written communication skills and be willing to act as team player; sharing information willingly and accurately. •Experience in .NET technologies (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET…) a plus.
