Primary Purpose: Resource will be responsible for the design and construction of the nightly continuous monitoring Informatica process stated above. Essential Background and Experience: Expert knowledge of ETL processing, with a focus on Informatica as the data integration tool. Thorough knowledge and understanding of Data Modeling, specifically utilizing ERWin to build logical data models of the data repository, and translate from the logical to the physical. Experience in documenting work flow and processes, with an eye toward building the working model within the AMA for how ETL processes are handled from a full development life cycle perspective. Experience with DB2 UDB database. Must show ability to utilize features that promote performance, stability and reliability. Requires good, and effective, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, is critical. Technical knowledge of data formats and interfaces (XML/ADO/ODBC/JDBC). Technical knowledge of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP/ROLAP) and supporting database structures. Good analytical skills. Functions/Responsibilities: Responsible for construction of Mapping Design based on documented requirements Responsible for presenting the solution to AMA staff. Responsible for construction of solution Responsible for resolving identified defects if required. Responsible for knowledge transfer activities such as discussions and turn over documentation. Participation in team activities Submit a weekly time and a status report in accordance with AMA requirements
